At Next Level Door Inc. we make the process of getting a new garage door as easy as possible. Simply tell us the size of the door, what type of opening system you want and the brand you prefer and we take care of the rest.
Doors are measured by HEIGHT (H) and LENGTH (L). Units are not that important (we can do the conversion). If you don’t know the size no problem, one of our technicians will be happy to come out and take a measurement.
There are 3 common types of garage doors systems
- Chain Drive. Most common garage doors systems. They use a chain driven by a motor to open and close the door. The chain runs along the spine of the system from the motor to the door. Benefits include low-cost and durability.
- Belt Drive. Using the same concept as a chain driven system only instead of a chain uses a vulcanized rubber belt. Pros to this system include sound reduction and low maintenance.
- Side Mount System (Jackshaft). Instead of using a chain or belt in the center of the garage to push/pull the garage door open and closed, the Jackshaft system attaches directly the torsion spring above the door on the side of the garage. Benefits include noise reduction and freeing up more space.
