Chain Drive Opener

Chain Drive Systems are the most common garage door openers. They are positioned at the center of the garage and use a chain driven by a motor to push and pull and the door open and closed. The chain runs along the entire spine of the system from the motor to the door.

Belt Drive Opener

Much like the chain drive system, the belt drive system is a garage door opener  centered in the middle of the garage. The difference is, instead of a chain pushing and pulling the door opened and closed, it uses a vulcanized rubber belt.

Side Opener System

Otherwise know as Jackshaft, Wall Mount and Side Mount system, instead of using a chain or belt in the center of the garage to push/pull the garage door open and closed, this garage door opener attaches directly the end of the torsion spring above the door. No spine between the the motor and door.
